Mechanical Stirrer Bearing
Newly designed mechanical stirrer bearing from ACE. All PTFE, Rulon or PEEK wetted area construction provides for low extractables. Completely contained bearing and internal parts also provides non-shedding of materials into the reaction. The bearing is excellent for vacuum applications and can be operated at sub-torr levels. Rated for up to 400rpm speeds. Available in three popular shaft and joint sizes; 10mm, 19mm and 28mm. It can be used on either glass polished or stainless steel stir shafts. Bench Reactor Stand Stand assembly for 1L to 6L bench reactors. Fits both filter and pressure reactor styles as well as standard round bottom flasks. It will accomodate flasks with or without bottom valves. The motor mount raises and lowers as does the flask support system. This aids in aligning the flask, motor and stir rod. Motor mount accepts either IKA or Heidolph overhead stir motors. All stand components are either anodized or powder coated aluminum. The flasks sit on an attached rubber base plate. |

Pressure Relief Manifold The pressure relief manifold is designed to fit into process systems between the circulator and the glass reaction vessel. The manifold gives further protection and safety for the vessels and the inlet ports. It also alleviates excess pressure build-up that will damage a reactor. Most circulators have a pressure relief system built-in but they may not be able to react fast enough to protect glass reactors. Complete system includes aluminum body, outlet fittings, hose, relief valve set at 10PSI, and pressure gauge. Fits 10L & above. |

Auto-Reactor Ace Glass introduces our new systems for totally automated reactions. Systems are available in bench scale from 1L up to 6L and kilo class scale from 10L up to 100L jacketed reactors. The systems, coupled with the new MicroNOTE, can control and data log three parameters including jacket temperature, motor speed/torque and system vacuum. Low Profile 50L Pilot Plant Jacketed 50 liter reaction system featuring a new, low-profile, flask that gives up to 25% in reduced height savings. The four-post stand is also shorter than a standard 30L or 50L size. The low aspect ratio reactor gives the full 50L capacity and still fits nicely into hoods. Coupled with a eight-port flat head and the XP stir motor with a right angle drive gear box, it makes for a very compact system. Troemner Vortexers Ace Glass Incorporated is pleased to introduce Vortexers from Troemner. Basic, Standard and Advanced models of vortex mixers with fixed and variable high speed mixing. Basic has fixed 3200rpm speed for rigorous mixing, which starts when button is pressed down. Standard has analog speed control from 300 to 3200rpm and can be set at continuous or touch mode which activates when the button is pressed down. Advanced has LED display for both speed and time, and includes both continuous and touch modes. Touch mode activates when top button is pressed. Timer will display elapsed time when activated and will shut unit off when it reaches zero. Advanced has 500 to 3000rpm speed range.

Pressure Flasks, Round Bottom Ace Glass is pleased to announce the addition of new round bottom pressure flasks to our already extensive line of pressure vessels. These heavy-wall flasks have a rounded bottom to facilitate use in heating mantles, and for other round bottom flask applications. Several sizes are available, with either a #15 or #25 Ace-Thred top fitting for easy sample access and re-sealing. These flasks have a PTFE front-seal plug for better sealability with FETFE O-Rings. Model 8417 flasks feature a side thermowell to accommodate either temperature sensors or thermometers. These flasks are rated @ 60 psi maxium up to 120°C. C.A.R.B. Octopus Glass Air Sampling System ACE GLASS proudly introduces two new ambient air sampling system designs: The California Air Resources Board (C.A.R.B.) Octopus design for critical air sampling. These new vertical systems fit more easily into air sampling stations, trailers and boxes, and provide a more efficient and flexible sample collection. All the inner surfaces that are exposed to the air are either inert borosilicate glass or inert PTFE. And thanks to our convenient Ace-Threds®, the systems can be safely and easily disassembled for cleaning or replacing parts. Both canes offer a PTFE sampling port outside for spot sampling or EPA auditing. The Ace-Thred ports on the manifolds can be fitted to any type of tubing, and can be sealed with ferrules and bushings to facilitate connection to air sampling instrumentation and monitors. Choose between four- or eight-port manifolds with either a glass sampling cane with an inverted cone or a straight cane with a polyethylene inverse funnel on top. |

Vacuum Apparatus
Special Vacuum Apparatus that can be used as a complex trap with the bottom tube or as a small manifold by itself. Can be joined to ACE 8737,8738 or 8739 manifolds or as a stand alone manifold. The code -23 consists of the -03 manifold and our 8753-21 tube, making a trap unit. It has a 15mm o-ring joint with a 0-10mm PTFE stopcock on one end and a #15 Ace-Thred with a 0-10mm PTFE stopcock on the other end. In the center, we have an air-inlet needle valve. Bottom tube length is 220mm. |
